Privacy policy

Short version: Wamoboard keeps your work on your computer. We don't track you, and the app has no analytics.

The app

• Your boards are files on your computer. They are never uploaded to us.
• License activation: when you activate, the app sends your license key and your computer's name to our license service (wamoboard.com) to check the key and count activations. It re-checks the key now and then.
• Updates: the app downloads a small file from wamoboard.com to see if a newer version exists. No personal data is sent.
• Live sharing: boards you share go directly between the computers taking part. They don't pass through our servers.

Purchases

Stripe, our merchant of record, processes your order and payment and shares with us the details needed to send your license key and support you (name, email, country, order). Read Stripe's privacy policy.

This website

wamoboard.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Reviews

If you write a review on wamoboard.com/reviews, we show your first name, your rating and review, the profile photo and photos you add, if any, and the flag of the country you wrote it from (worked out from your internet connection; only the country is shown). Your license key is only used to check that you have a license and that it leaves one review; it's never shown. Photos are made smaller and cleaned of hidden data (such as where a photo was taken) before they're stored, on Cloudflare. To change or remove your review, write to support@wamoboard.com.

Email

If you write to us, we use your email only to answer you. Besides the emails about your purchase, we send one email a week after you activate Wamoboard, asking whether you'd like to leave a review (not if you already did). We only ask once.
